With the recent WCC West Conference Championship by our WM Boys Basketball team, we thought we'd throw it back to the last time we had it (unshared) -- 1987!!

WATERTOWN-MAYER PSD: While the 6th graders were away having fun at Wolf Ridge, the 7th & 8th graders were hard at work to find their Medallion!
Clues were given all week, but the students were unable to find it during their Advisory time! Tyler Stutsman went out on his own on Saturday determined to find it and DID!

WATERTOWN-MAYER PSD: Congratulations to the Watertown-Mayer Mound-Westonka Gymnastics team for winning the Section 5A title last night!
Congrats also goes to Assistant Coach, Mickal Erickson - named Section 5A Assistant Coach of the Year!

WATERTOWN-MAYER PSD: Mr. Jepma's Social Studies Class class here at WM Middle School recently held it's annual Mock Trial!
Four different classes held this Mock Trial -- all with 'Judge Jepma' presiding - each class presented its case and did an excellent job!

WATERTOWN-MAYER PSD: Watertown-Mayer Elementary does an AMAZING job of Connecting our students to our community!
This year, the Kindergarten class did "SOCKtober"; the 2nd grade decorated bags for our local food shelf; the 3rd grade adopted families through their Mittens of Hope program and the 4th grade does their annual food drive in the Spring!

WATERTOWN-MAYER PSD: The WM School Board had an opportunity to recognize some of the MANY accomplishments of our students and student athletes as well as some committed community members!
Those honored included our ExCEL reps for '22; our Triple 'A' reps for '22; our Coaches & Asst. Coaches of the Year (Boys & Girls Soccer and Football); our state participating football team; our All-State fall student athletes; and our current Vice Chair, Tim Thompson whose term will be complete as of 12/31/2022. Mr. Thompson has diligently served our WM school board for 12 years!
