Victoria home prices fall in July 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2018 in Victoria fell by $63,000 while total sales decreased by 53.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2018, there were 12 homes sold, with a median sale price of $374,950 - a 14.4% decrease over the $437,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 26 homes sold in Victoria in July 2017.

The median sales tax in Victoria for 2018 was $5,082. In 2017, the median sales tax was $4,808. This marks an increase of 5.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.4%.
