Victoria home prices fall in June 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in June 2018 in Victoria fell by $26,000 while total sales decreased by 42.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2018, there were 16 homes sold, with a median sale price of $393,750 - a 6.2% decrease over the $419,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 28 homes sold in Victoria in June 2017.

The median sales tax in Victoria for 2018 was $5,082. In 2017, the median sales tax was $4,808. This marks an increase of 5.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.3%.
