Cologne home prices rise in the first half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2018 in Cologne rose by $44,300 while total sales remained unchanged with 25 homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2018, there were 25 homes sold, with a median sale price of $269,000 - a 19.7% increase over the $224,700 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 25 homes sold in Cologne in the first half of 2017, as well.

The median sales tax in Cologne for 2018 was $2,876. In 2017, the median sales tax was $2,822. This marks an increase of 1.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.1%.
