Carver home prices rise in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Carver rose by $19,500 while total sales increased by 5.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 36 homes sold, with a median sale price of $355,000 - a 5.8% increase over the $335,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 34 homes sold in Carver in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Carver for 2018 was $3,980. In 2017, the median sales tax was $3,794. This marks an increase of 4.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.1%.
