Waconia median home prices rose by 15.3% in the third quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Waconia rose by $50,000 while total sales increased by 4.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were 71 homes sold, with a median sale price of $377,500 - a 15.3% increase over the $327,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 68 homes sold in Waconia in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Waconia for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,692, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
