Pricing for the median home in New Germany decreased during the fourth quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2021 in New Germany fell by $47,200 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2021, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $183,750 - a 20.4% decrease over the $230,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in New Germany in the fourth quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in New Germany for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,234, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2021.
