The second half of 2021: Home prices in Victoria increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Victoria rose by $47,500 while total sales increased by 26.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 90 homes sold, with a median sale price of $582,500 - a 8.9% increase over the $535,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 71 homes sold in Victoria in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Victoria for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $5,260, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
