2021: Home prices in New Germany fell

The median sale price of a home sold in 2021 in New Germany fell by $19,000 while total sales decreased by 13.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2021, there were 13 homes sold, with a median sale price of $223,000 - a 7.9% decrease over the $242,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 15 homes sold in New Germany in 2020.

The median sales tax in New Germany for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,234, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for 2021.
