Q2: Home prices in Victoria increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2022 in Victoria rose by $122,450 while total sales increased by 28.9 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June, there were 49 homes sold, with a median sale price of $635,000 - a 23.9 percent increase over the $512,550 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 38 homes sold in Victoria in the second quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Victoria for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $5,260, approximately 0.8 percent of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2022.
