Rising home prices in Chaska in Q2

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2022 in Chaska rose by $59,500 while total sales decreased by 0.8 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June, there were 119 homes sold, with a median sale price of $402,500 - a 17.3 percent increase over the $343,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 120 homes sold in Chaska in the second quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Chaska for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,272, approximately 0.8 percent of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2022.
