First half of 2022: Home prices in Victoria increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Victoria rose by $120,100 while total sales increased by 9.5 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were 69 homes sold, with a median sale price of $635,000 - a 23.3 percent increase over the $514,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 63 homes sold in Victoria in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Victoria for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $5,260, approximately 0.8 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
