Pricing for the median home in New Germany decreased during the first half of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in New Germany fell by $46,850 while total sales decreased by 33.3 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $233,150 - a 16.7 percent decrease from the $280,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in New Germany in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in New Germany for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,234, approximately 1.4 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
