CHASKA CITY - MN: The snow may have stopped, but that doesn’t mean our crews are done cleaning up the mess the storm left behind.

Snowstorm

Chaska City - Mn issued the following announcement on Jan. 07.

The snow may have stopped, but that doesn’t mean our crews are done cleaning up the mess the storm left behind.

Last night, our crews got about 3/4 of the snow removed from downtown. To give you some perspective on how much snow they hauled away, this is a picture of the pile down at Athletic Park. It stretches from the outfield to 1st base!!!

After some much-deserved rest this weekend, crews will be back at next week.

Here’s what they’ll be working on:

Sight-line issues (areas where the snow banks are impacting a driver’s ability to see traffic at certain intersections) Finishing downtown snow removal Tuesday night into Wednesday morning (1/10-1/11) Pushing back/removing snow on some streets that have become narrow from all the snow Clearing trails

When time allows (probably in 2 weeks), crews will get out to the cul de sacs to address the snow piles.
