City Of Chanhassen issued the following announcement on Feb. 23.
City plows began operations at 4 AM this morning, starting with plowing & treating primary routes. All routes will be plowed repeatedly during today's event to keep travel lanes open. Cul-de-sacs will only be plowed with one pass along the curb to provide outlets for driveways & emergency vehicles.
Due to the amount of snowfall, we are bringing in additional staff, front-end loaders with plows, wings for mainline plowing, and three-quarter ton pickups for residential cul-de-sacs. This may take 10+ hours to complete.
