MINNETONKA WEST MIDDLE SCHOOL: During last month's Heart Week at Minnetonka High School, students set a record by raising more than $60k for Family Friends, a local nonprofit that supports students and families in need.

Minnetonka West Middle School issued the following announcement on Mar. 02. 

During last month's Heart Week at Minnetonka High School, students set a record by raising more than $60k for Family Friends, a local nonprofit that supports students and families in need. 

“Heart Week showcases the best things about Minnetonka High School,” said student government advisor Becky Johnson. “It shows the generosity of our students, staff and families. It shows the kindness, intelligence, talent, creativity and humor of our students. It shows the flexibility, support, trust and enthusiasm provided by our administration. Heart Week shows the heart of Tonka, and I couldn't be more proud!”
