On Friday, Feb. 28, former Chanhassen High School standout Sydney Schwartz’s college team won in an NCAA Division I softball game

On Friday, Feb. 28, former Chanhassen High School standout Sydney Schwartz’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, won 7-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Wagner Seahawks.

The game took place at U.S. Bank Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Seahawks this season.

The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 3 p.m. at U.S. Bank Stadium against Miami RedHawks.
