On Friday, Feb. 28, former Waconia High School standout Nicole Weinberger’s college team won in an NCAA Division II softball game

On Friday, Feb. 28, former Waconia High School standout Nicole Weinberger’s current college team, the Winona State Warriors, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Lincoln Blue Tigers.

The game took place at Branson RecPlex. This was their first matchup against the Blue Tigers this season.

The Warriors’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 3 p.m. at Branson RecPlex against Missouri S&T Miners.
