On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Holy Family Catholic High School standout Sydney McGuirk’s current college team, the Furman Paladins, lost 7-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Evansville Purple Aces.

The game took place at Pepsi Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Purple Aces this season.

The Paladins’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 16 at 1 p.m. at Eagle Field against Georgia Southern Eagles.
