Tuesday, April 1: Glencoe-Silver Lake High School standout Makayla Wigern’s college team loses to Minnesota State Mavericks

On Tuesday, April 1, former Glencoe-Silver Lake High School standout Makayla Wigern’s current college team, the Concordia Golden Bears, lost 3-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Minnesota State Mavericks.

The game took place at Maverick All-Sports Dome. This was their fourth matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Golden Bears’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 3:45 p.m. at Junction Ave Field against Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs.
