Julia Coleman, an American politician and member of the Minnesota Senate, recently shared her experiences in Israel through a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter). Her messages highlighted both the challenges and emotional impact of her travels in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

On September 20, 2025, Coleman described her time in Tel Aviv amid ongoing security concerns: "Despite having to run to shelter several times for incoming missiles, I absolutely loved Tel Aviv and its people. #telaviv #israel".

The following day, she reflected on her visit to significant Christian sites in Jerusalem: "As I head to Mass this morning, my heart is full, forever changed by walking where Jesus walked in Jerusalem. Touching the sacred stone where His body was prepared for burial, stepping into the empty tomb, and standing at the site of His crucifixion stirred a profound connection".

Later that same day, Coleman posted a brief message praising an unnamed individual: "What an amazing woman."

Coleman's trip took place during a period when visitors to Israel often face heightened security risks due to regional tensions. As a Minnesota state senator, she has previously engaged with issues related to international affairs and interfaith dialogue.
