The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) and the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA) partnered for the 14th annual Veterans Career Fair, which will be virtual this year.

“We want to invite all Minnesota military veterans and active service members, including National Guard members and reservists, and their spouses to meet employers who recognize and appreciate your military experience,” DEED Commissioner Steve Grove said in a news release. “If you’re looking for work now, or are considering a career move, this is a great opportunity to hear from hundreds of employers, meet virtually with those that interest you and share your skills and experience with them.”

The fair will be held on Thursday, Nov. 19 at 2 p.m. and will be held virtually.

“We want to thank all the great Minnesota employers who acknowledge the unique value those who serve or served in the military bring to their organization’s team,” MDVA Commissioner Larry Herke said in the news release. “Military service not only provides high-tech training and real world experience, it also builds character skills like integrity, leadership, teamwork and commitment to getting the job done right. Hiring a veteran is a great decision for an organization’s success.”
