City Of Chanhassen recently issued the following announcement.
Join the fun and find the hidden "tree-sure" while visiting Chanhassen parks during the Gnomadic Gnome Scavenger Hunt!
Beginning Earth Day, April 22, stop by The Garden By The Woods Garden Center (78 West 78th St.) and pick up your FREE Eco the Gnome! Gnomes will be available for pick-up 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM daily.
Look for signage in the specially marked locations within the parks, and snap a picture of your gnome buddy enjoying the outdoors by the event signs. The event signs will have information to help you learn about the city's natural plant and animal habitats, ecosystems, and environment.
Once you've taken five pictures, visit The Garden and share your pics. For every five pictures, participants will receive five FREE Minnesota native plants! (Some restrictions may apply)
