Carver County Sheriff’s Office issued the following announcement on Jul 26.
#drivesmart #nhtsa5speedawarenessday2022 On July 23rd just after 6 pm, Deputies were called to scene of this crash. The driver was travelling at over 100 mph when they lost control of their vehicle. The driver sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries and needed to be airlifted from the scene.
Such dangerous speeds make controlling and stopping your vehicle significantly more difficult.
Extra speed enforcement patrols are on Carver County roadways through the remainder of July. Obey the sign, or pay the fine.
