Rep. Dawn Gillman, a Minnesota state legislator, has recently posted a series of tweets addressing government spending in Minnesota and celebrating her sons’ achievements in collegiate football.
On August 7, 2025, Rep. Gillman commented on efforts to address government inefficiency, stating: "This is the tip of the iceberg, when asked 'why aren’t we doing anything about it?' We are, you are and we are grateful the spotlight is on Minnesota so we can restore, restructure and reduce wasteful spending https://t.co/0MXFJfuqZb".
The following day, August 8, she shared a personal note about her sons' involvement in college football: "Seeing our sons in their @MontanaGrizFB gear on the same team is priceless. On August 9, Rep. Gillman praised her son's football team for their performance: "These stats come from the big guys up front our OLine and hard work on the part of our scout team giving it to them every week. You go get um Eli John! https://t.co/T9DdpLchVz".
