Student's death in Minneapolis shooting prompts high school principal to speak out

After the recent death of Andre Conley, a 17-year-old senior at Patrick Henry High School who had worked for Republican Lacy Johnson’s congressional campaign, North Community High School Principal Mauri Friestleben posted a video to Facebook in which she said that Minneapolis feels as chaotic as a classroom where the teacher has simply given up.

The Silver Lake City Council recently voted 3-2 to contract law enforcement duties to the McLeod County Sheriff’s Office, and four of Silver Lake Ambulance’s eight EMTs are threatening to resign in response.

Frans cautions $1.5 billion surplus may not be what it seems
