CHASKA CITY - MN: Surprise, surprise, another snow removal update!
With the freezing rain this morning, our crews were busy with salting and sanding this morning, so we didn’t get a chance to finish cleaning up snow on Stoughton Ave and Yellow Brick Road.

CHASKA CITY - MN: The snow may have stopped, but that doesn’t mean our crews are done cleaning up the mess the storm left behind.
Last night, our crews got about 3/4 of the snow removed from downtown. To give you some perspective on how much snow they hauled away, this is a picture of the pile down at Athletic Park. It stretches from the outfield to 1st base!!!

CHASKA CITY - MN: While our outdoor ice rinks aren’t officially open yet, the rinks at Community Park (behind Clover Ridge Elementary) and Lions Park (off of Ravoux Rd) can be used.
We are hoping to have shelters open and better ice made by the end of next week as long as we don’t have to deal with snow. Keeping our fingers crossed on that one!

CHASKA CITY-MN: When it comes to city services, some jobs can’t wait for the weather to warm up.
Today, our Water & Sewer crew had to brave the subzero temps and windchill to fix a watermain leak. The job took a majority of the day, but the crew got it fixed and had the water turned back on to the neighborhood in the afternoon.

Depending on how much snow falls this morning, crews will be back out at about Noon/1pm for a full plow.
